Ok, I think it's time to move on and post some new challenges here. This topic had a lot of interest but no actual activity; maybe fresh challenges will revive it. I'll have them up in the next day or two!
EDIT: new challenges are up! but if you still want to post your attempts at the old ones, I'd like to see them. C:

...and just for future reference, please don't hesitate to post rough or incomplete attempts! Obviously the work should show some effort (since they are challenges after all) but I'm sure we'd all prefer an active thread with WIPs and incomplete pics than a topic that died because no one wanted to post rougher works.

Um... here's what I had for the previous challenge, though it's not much. I was planning on trying all three prompts into one, but... I couldn't make it in time, sorry. ><; I still hope to finish it someday, though.

But yeah, I agree, onto the next. c= I am excited for these prompts! Dressing up characters in costumes is something I love to do, hehe. And the movie poster looks really fun. Looking forward to this. ^^

(and yeah the costume swap one in particular isn't a super difficult challenge but I figured some easy/fun challenges might help get the ball rolling. xD; )

I'm sorry I was too busy to submit anything. But if I can think of an idea, I may still do something late, because the challenges were really cool.

I agree. If you'd like to try some of the current prompts, go for it. They still look pretty fun to me too. I should try again...

So I did Challenge A: my OC Luca in another character's clothes. Do you recognise who?

pfahaha I would recognise Luke's silly backwards buttons anywhere xD

and yes we can certainly revive the thread! I think I still have some prompt ideas saved somewhere, but we never really had the activity to justify monthly updates. if people are interested, I could toss the full list up and just make it 'art challenges' without the 'monthly' aspect.

I like that idea, Dusk! I know we don't really have enough interest to keep the monthly challenges right now, but it would still be cool to just have a list and anybody can jump in and try one at any time. And if anyone has their own idea for an interesting prompt, they can share and we can add it to the list.

I still have one on the go from when this thread initially started, but never managed to finish in time. But without the deadline I might give it another go.

Also Elyssie, that's super cute!
