Just wondering, is anyone interested in another summer swap for this year? (Or if there's not enough people for that, we could do something like an ATC swap instead; I know we haven't had much activity around here lately so something small may be better.)

At TCAF (local comics convention event thingy) they were giving away free packs of ATC bristol cards at the entrance of the main webcomic-centric artist's alley hall! I picked up two of them so now I have a surfeit of precut cards, and also will shortly be finishing up an ongoing freelance project (probably by next week!!!) which will free up a lot of time and energy.

I... could tentatively be down for another swap, though I want to wait another week or so before I commit to anything.

(Though, while I'm here, I should mention I also have some half-finished sketches for twocue and others from the last art card swap... I haven't seen the recipients around the forums in awhile so I've put them on the backburner, but if anyone wants to resume a lapsed trade with me, I could finish up those WIPs :B)

I was actually going to ask that myself, whether people wanna do another summer swap this year. If it's the same few regulars again, it does get kinda tricky trying to have people draw for someone they haven't already... but if you guys don't mind that, I could put something together. I imagine it'd probably be just a small one.

Or just doing another ATC swap or something similar sounds cool too! Right now I don't have access to my art supplies (room is being ripped up and remodeled and all my stuff is buried in storage. Taking way longer than anticipated. =< But should be done really soon, I hope.) And then I still owe Mashi one before I do any others (if you're reading this, it will get done, I promise I haven't forgotten!)

Though if anyone has any other ideas for some sort of off-season activity, I'd love to hear.

Yeah I figure that's probably the best option since SS events work better with more people (and summer tends to not be the best time for events with a solid deadline since it's when most people make their vacation plans). With ATCs people can organise trades as they have time.

but just for the record I don't mind drawing for the same person multiple times, especially when they have a nice variety in their request so I can draw different characters.

Thought I would share this with you guys, since a while back I recall talking about all the wild critters I tend to get around my home... (I think that was here?)

I don't really read any web comics, but I've been following the cartoon "Steven Universe". Episodes are ten minutes long, but the music, the art style, the characters...augh I can't take another break!
