Paintchat

For those of you who use them, what site do you use?

Also, does anyone want to? I've been using iscribble for the past couple weeks because I found an old e-mail where I registered to draw with one of my friends there from years ago and it's kind of fun. XD I know you're all super busy and it might be hard to coordinate though.

Maybe we could have a party and attempt to recruit any innocent bystanders that wander in.

I use Niko's! Used to go there all the time, but then the site was down for a while, and now the applet crashes my browser every time I try... :C

But I would be up for it if I can ever get it working again!

Oh neat, it looks like I registered for that one in 2009...clearly I don't remember it that well though. XD I'll give it a try and see if it works since it looks like it has way more tools than the one I have been using, thanks!

Although I can't make my own room with this one I think? The nice thing about iscribble is that you can make your own room and even have private rooms if you want to. Which with the issues I've had with Open Canvas is kind of nice. I had someone offer to commission me once on there too which just...blew my mind. O_O

Hm... I've never used iscribble myself. (the toolsets in Niko's are the same as every other pchat I've used, though....)

I used niko's too! Then it came back and I used it for a few weeks until I allowed Java to update itself and the shi-chan applet wouldn't load for me :C

It started working again just recently! Though I haven't had any time to go in. I'd love to do it again sometime soon, though :D

Paintchat is a lot of fun! And if you're self-conscious about other people WATCHING YOU don't worry; that's actually pretty rare. (Everyone usually just works on their own thing, with occasional glances at the rest of the canvas, so there's no need to feel self-conscious!)

I think I would feel too self-conscious to actually paint, even if people aren't watching me... I have weird anxiety issues. But it would still be fun just to hang out and chat (and watch everyone else paint). XD Finding time is the hard part though.

Friday, Saturday, and Sunday are all open for me. Weekdays I am busy around the afternoon and on Monday I'm busy in the evening as well.

This week I am free all week.

Ah, I envy you having so much free time. XD

My schedule is typically something like: work 8am-12pm, do schoolwork until 5pm, eat supper, go to class until either 8:30 or 10pm depending on the day, then if I've got enough done I can usually relax for a bit before bed, but lately that doesn't happen and I end up having to finish up more assignments instead. x.x

I might be able to pop on now and then during my little 10 min study breaks though. Also, this will sound horrible, but during my 7-10pm Tuesday class I can probably pop on as well, mostly just to watch. XD I have extreme difficulty staying awake in that class so maybe it would help...

Weekends are all over the place and I'm usually out and about but occasionally I will have a free Friday or Saturday night.

EDIT: After April I won't be this busy.

It's not exactly all free time but it's flexible so I can change when I do it.

This week is empty because it's a vacation.

Also you may not feel as bad as you think if you try it, I'm pretty lacking in confidence but found that I still enjoy it. Just draw badly on purpose if you want to draw but are worried about quality. It worked for me. Angry stick figures are always good. XD I am thinking that every time my mind tries to say I suck or this is bad from now on I am going to make myself say the opposite of what I am thinking...I'm awesome, this is great. Let's use reverse psychology together Kynale. My sister said to me yesterday, "Why do you always try to talk me out of liking something? I'm allowed to like it." She has shocking bad good taste.

But just chatting is fine too, I'll be happy just to get to talk to you. ^_^

I....... don't have a ton of free time nowadays XD;; On weekdays I'm only reliably available for online shenanigans between 9pm and midnight (1am at the latest, though with my astounding lack of willpower I'll sometimes push it later)-- Thursdays and Fridays are when I am the least available, Tuesdays the most (with occasional exceptions).

And weekends, of course. Though I may be going out of town this weekend.

Hmhm! Was looking around at other drawing with friend site things - 'cause I was thinking it'd be nice if we could find one that we can just all go into at any time and draw things in there, even if we're not all online at the moment.

So far the biggest downside is... only three drawing tools I think!? XD (And 0/3 being an eraser tool...)

But no fuss trying to log in or anything, it starts right up!

That looks really cool! Though I'm not really familiar with paintchat in general so I don't know how it compares. ^^; But still, even with the limited tools, at least we can doodle. XD Very cute!
