I've been working on making some volume/chapter covers for Chirault, so that I have a larger stockpile of illustrations that show bits of the story (rather than random images of the characters doing nothing in particular other than looking fancy). Here's the current WIP!

yeah it was still just shading under the sketch with no cleanup so I didn't consider it finished enough to go in the other thread, even though the shading/colours were pretty much complete. xD;;

Needed a new background. Did quick base colours and shadow variants to end up with this. Going to finish it tomorrow, hopefully.

EDIT: It's pixel-y here, but it was created to fit my screen's resolution perfectly.

I've been rereading Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell again and I drew some Raven Kings. (it's cool to be able to draw a character from a book that has no widely-known images or adaptations out there; I can really give it my own interpretation without being influenced by previous works.)

This was a new OC for an RP that ended up never happening.  I decided to put the character in my request thread, but I am quite proud of this picture <3

yeah I haven't really been making what I'd call sketches or WIPs since it's inktober and I've been inking ALL THE THINGS.

silly things that I wouldn't ink under ordinary circumstances.
(I think I've used 3 ink refills already and the month isn't even over yet...)
